Wasn't that a Party?

Don't forget The Kitchen Party tomorrow night 7pm at the Performance Centre kicking off Come Home Week. Many of our Crow's Nest Gang will be there to perform for you.


And what a kitchen party we had last night here at the Nest. The crowd couldn't keep to their seats when Robert Rennie broke out the fiddle, Roger Grant on the mandolin, John Rennie on bass, Hank Boucher and Emmett Abraham on guitar and George Grant on steel guitar. Others performers last night were Eldon Munroe, Neil DeCoff , Walter Pelly, Gertie Grant, Gerald Hart and Lillian MacPherson. (hope I got everyone).

Summer's here?

Ok, the weather has been great and we've been busy planting flowers and mowing grass!  The lawn chairs are out and the ice cream is ready.

The window boxes are planted. Now wait and see if they will look as good. Come on sunshine!

The Party

Packed the house Wednesday Night.

A dozen or more performers came out to entertain the crowd. Great time with lots of toe tapping music and of course a bit of banter to keep the crowd laughing. Everyone joined in to sing Happy Birthday to Gerald and Pat and thanks to Mother Maybelle for the yummy cake.

This Wednesday it's Gerald's Birthday

Gerald turns the big 67 tomorrow, so come out and wish Gerald a happy birthday. Pat Casey also has a birthday on Thursday so we will be celebrating both. Be sure to drop by, everyone is back from the winter vacations and ready to jam. Come on in for a piece of cake and toe tapping music.

Wednesday's Lunch Special is Cabbage Roll Casserole or Turkey Vegetable Soup with Rhubarb Pudding for dessert.

Wednesday at the Nest

Here it is Wednesday again and a beautiful one at that. All the snow birds are back so it should be a full house tonight. You better watch it Hank, miss too many more and Pat will have your seat permanently.

Full house tonight. A few new members have joined the group, Leo Jelleau home from the west was here for another visit and Roy (I think that is his name?) tagged along.

Our first jam session of the year. We will be missing a few of the old crow's tonight. Emmett has flown south for the winter and will be back in the spring, George is still out west for the holidays but the rest of the gang should be here if old man winter doesn't rear it's ugly head.
